Well, try to launch DF without its engine, in old style quake3.exe ( Mods -> Defrag - freshly installed, without any DFengine ) or try use " -game defrag " parameter in the icon's command line. Or just do the same as mini, put the downloaded maps to /defrag/ directory. ( Or even /baseq3/ - but i had problem with that, coz somehow /defrag/ directory - can carry about 450~maps, while baseq3 about 50~ for me.) Anyway, i don't know why you and mini have such problem, coz i don't have any ://

have the same problem lately. ha dthis never before. i fixed it with downloading the maps into baseq3. very weird
