Today, I tried teaching a friend of mine how to play DeFrag. She has absolutely no previous experience with FPS games, and barely any with video games. Her main games have been MapleStory and Dragon Nest up to now.

With that said, it took about half an hour to get a basic understanding of strafe jump mechanics, and we almost landed cos1_beta7b's blue lane. In 3 weeks, we'll go at it again, and hopefully we'll get up to the green lane.

I think we will soon have another player to beat all of Arca's times in a day. Next prodigy inc.

You might want to consider sexual intercourse instead.

In the end everything boils down to multiplayer online gaming. This too is the case with defrag and that's where we come in. Modified gameservers all over the world to track process of each player and an extensive database with statistics keeps the competition between players active.
