Let's make a list of all Quake3/Defrag Bugs that are out there and try to explain them together. So it's mainly a thread about programming or math.
Incomplete list:
- Strafejumping
- Airstrafe [thread]
- Skimming
- Overbouncing
- Sticky Overbounces (somehow not the same)
- Groundboosting [thread]
- TeleJumping (pretty much like groundboosting)
- Wallstrafing
- Rebouncing (being stuck in a wall accumulating speed (used in sjt2))
- Z-Rebouncing (the trick solving think17)
- Edgesliding
- Ramping
Some of these Items are actually the same. I just took everything that came to mind and threw it in.
I made that "Z-Rebouncing" up, because I don't know the real name or it's origin in the code. To my knowledge nobody named it yet. Same goes for "Edgesliding".
