Net settings

i had 70 ping before on german mDd servers. after getting myself a faster connection, my ping now is 98 for some reason.. :?
suggest optimal net settings please. like rate, cl_maxpacks, snaps. and maybe other commands i dont know

I use

rate 25000
snaps 125
cl_maxpackets 125

that's a plasma setting but it should work for strafe, too. Maybe you can lower the snaps a bit.
