It's shitty.

I sent a mail as well asking about the forums. They say that they will reply within 24 hours, but I guess that's only for paying customers <_< Our emails they probably burned to a CD and ran it in the microwave after pooping through the hole of the CD.
And speaking of paying customers, it is probably greed that has made the decision to cancel the forum part of what now is velocitymicro and now overdrivepc(seeing as everything else on the site is intact). The new management has probably chosen to shut it down because they don't see any benefit in giving people a moderated place to chat in. Because I doubt that Ryom et al were ogling the forums for free.
It's really sad to see that the main and oldest (since 2000, or 2001?) international defrag forum will disappear without the possibility to continue it under different hosting. And it seems that the people who knows(or don't know) what it means to some people, don't care enough to try and save it in whatever way.

If you could get a back-up of the forum data, you could rehost it somewhere else :O, there are plenty of sites hosting free forums :p

I asked for the data or at least the massive amount of attachments in form of demos some days or a weak? ago. As mentioned before by AL|EN and ZyaX there was no reply yet.

I have the demos of all fs threads on my hdd but the runs and the countless (bullshit)posts :D are gone :(
