well either it was popping on and off randomly, or i looked before you did, or something... because i looked and it was gone, but you looked and it was there. i dont know how to explain it, but whatever. its no big deal.

The fact that the forum is up and down for no reason is not a problem in itslef, we knew aleady that OPC didn't want to host it anymore. The good news is more that the DB is still here, it has not been deleted, and we can maybe ask for a copy or a way to transfert it (although some people already tried to ask ...).

If the OPC people won't send you a forum backup (perhaps there is some sort of legal worries about doing so?), you can instead ask them to temporarily put it up for a day or so so someone can download the entire thing.

It seems to me that they're not going to do anything about it unless they get annoyed by people constantly asking about it. I'm thinking like the film the Shawshank Redemption. If you get 10/20 people to agree to send them an e-mail once a week asking for the defrag stuff, perhaps they'll do something.

I know that this topic seems like a dead end and it is pretty old too, but I will try my chance anyway.
Does anyone happen to have the technical stuff from the old OPC Forum?
I am looking for example the max speed formular by CGaz and other technical stuff concerning the movement and bugs specifically.
