Demo's crashing Defrag

When I select Demo from the Main Menu or use the demo command in console, defrag crashes and I get booted to the desktop with the following error...

recursive error after:Z_Malloc:failed on allocation of 92 bytes from the small zone. Copy console log to clipboard?


Any suggestions on cause of this error?

I have over 12000 demos, there's no way 1024 is some kind of limit.

Have you tried updating your game engine?
Maybe that bug has been fixed some time ago.
