its adorably that somebody needs src for that

Bacon wrote:Already tried that, but thanks anyways for your useless input.

Those two posts in combination convince me that you actually are a - with your words - a dick.

Next time please state what you actually want(defrag cpm physics code) and get a quick answer instantly. This might also help your patience problem. Also there is a whole thread about exactly this topic. Please use the search function.

Ok, I'll say it again, I tried that and it produces different results than the way it feels in defrag. Adding that code makes it like OSP with promode enabled. I tried both over and over and it feels different than what happens in defrag. I read that thread a long time ago.

I get it, you don't want cheaters (even though bots exist already) and you don't want defrag to be forked (because people are all of a sudden going to ditch DeFRaG out of nowhere for some no name mod). I understand why the code isn't open source/public, and I said I was sorry, I thought it was GPL and I was wrong, so I said I was wrong and that's that. I've already ditched making a mod and i'm just going to focus on making maps.

As for being a dick, I probably wouldn't be if I didn't get tutored and lectured by people on how to code or how to make maps when i've clearly explained several times I don't need help in those areas. "It's adorable" that I "need src for that". What the hell is that? How am I supposed to reply to that, thank him for insulting me? Please, walk all over me.

The serverside changes to version .23 are very useful. Every server should be updated.

"callvote kick no longer color code sensitive"

Finally

Also I would like to bump this:

Would it be possible to have a df_viewlog command?
It's quite annoying when someone gives you a link ingame and you can't just copy paste it.

I can't be the only one who wants this?
Or do people enjoy wasting 10 min by condumping?

woah, some good things are done

is bbox view intended for team tricks only?
it might be useful for plasmaclimb pretty much and may be for precise items pickup too; i've been told, there is such feature in mme

is \ignore feature fixed?

defrag.def isnt fixed though

Another idea would be to listen for URLs in the console, so when someone posts a link, you can just issue /openlasturl and it opens in your default browser.
I've done this when i played a bit with con_filter code. It works like a charm.

Anyways, great job keeping this mod alive :)

I don't think you can launch a browser from inside quake3. The best you can do is reprint the links to the console right before you close quake3.
I don't have the new .23 running yet
