Try df_hud_Drawstatus 0, alternatively you can make the hud background/border invisible if you just want the numbers.

Actually that is what the command I posted does, disables the default defrag hud entirely.
Open the console (` or ~ usually) and type "df_hud" then press TAB. These are most of the relevant commands.
"df_chs" + TAB is also vital, but it appears you've already found those.

By request here is my cfg.

A screenshot doesn't really do it justice and doesn't really show anything because my cfg is multi-state by design, allowing me to turn on/off desired features at the press of a button. I haven't refined it much since I made it last year, so it's pretty much gonna stay this way, simple and the way I prefer it.

The cfg's named rf-online.cfg and rf-offline.cfg are executed via shortcuts in a defrag shortcut folder, examples:

"*:\...\Quake 3 Arena\dfengine.exe" +exec rf-online.cfg +connect 78.46.226.123:27960 <- CPM Runs I, 1 shortcut per server since I'm South African, there's no other df servers I'd play on other than mDd.

"*:\...\Quake 3 Arena\dfengine.exe" +exec rf-offline.cfg

And they both reset my most commonly changed cvars to MY default by exec'ing rf-cvar-start.cfg.

The record script in rf-cvars.cfg is my own attempt at specwhoring, easy naming, only problem is copy/pasting names out of the generated text files, but including dates and times helps when I watch one from over a year ago and don't wonder when (insert name here) played it.

So now you have my cfg.

I have a "servers.cfg" with all the mDd servers I've seen, and their own custom vstrs. It also prints the server info in the console, complete with colors and server numbers. The only thing it's missing is map and players, because that's impossible without actually connecting to the server.

I've also added all the custom vstrs to my config, so I don't need to exec a second config with all this ugly print if I want to connect to one of the servers. It's pretty useful.

Also, my config is awesome. Fuck yeah.
