Killed random OB against rules?

So, this second map has few places where random ob occurs and those come up quite often.

So my question is, are random OBs against rules if you see detector showing that you will get OB but you kill/suppress it? So basicly there is OB but you won't use it.

For my point of view it doesn't feel like against rules, but i wan't to be sure : )

As long as you don't get a speedboost you're fine.

Yes, exactly.
As long as you don't have speed/route/time advantage, that is fine.
Random sticky OBs on gazboosts are explicitly allowed because they are hard to prevent.
