Resistration is open:
http://dfwc.q3df.org/

Just like last time we use the q3df.org accounts for the DFWC website.
Click the "sign up"-link in the banner.

As some of you may have noticed, the page wasnt completely up to date before (we wanted to open the registration ASAP).

The page has now been updated (big thanks to Michael):

- rules have been added
- schedule was updated (including levelshots!)
- contact persons have been added to the "about page"

Be sure to check it out, so you dont miss out on something important.

Big thanks for this huge work, gnj! But
levelshots looks shitty because made without antialiasing (look at morbus map). I think it not big deal to remade it. This is DFWC - main event in DeFRaG and all should be in best quality.
And we still need coverage post about DFWC on esreality. Lith's post not enough.
Clean Quake3 (1.32c) with installed defrag 1.91.25 & dfengine 1.08 + distributives windows/linux versions ioquake3, iodfengine, dfengine and defrag included ("xFiles" folder): cloud.mail.ru | yandex.disk.ru.
All defrag maps repack! <- very useful! Highly recommended!

The levelshots were made with 16xAS // 32xCSAA.

AA has its limits (especially when the base resolution of a levelshot is 1024x768), feel free to google.

I dont know what else to say..

That did cross my mind, however:

Heres a 1080p with 16xAS // 32xAA (sorry i dont have a 4K monitor): http://i.imgur.com/4PtHE8e.jpg

Look at the edges in the foreground, then at those in the background.

Man...I used AA for a long time and know how it should looks like. Differents "sticks out a mile".
I made a test, for prove my words. Open this pictures and compare. You will see how dfwc levelshots looks similar to mine screenshots without AA. And how smooth looks picture with AA.
I don't wanna abuse you, just reported what I saw. I understand that you have a lot of work with DFWC organisation. GPU quality settings may be set for another .exe, i had this "problem" too when run defrag in another place.
Peace.

These are not dfwc maps.

To xaja: i can assure you my settings are on max. and they are active.

with: http://i.imgur.com/NAilxYN.jpg
without: http://i.imgur.com/ufzmpdo.jpg

(look at the left side, you clearly see AA and especially AS)

i do see however, that your pictures look sharper.
perhaps my graphic cards AA just suck? (have a gtx770)

maybe we got off on the wrong foot here (your first post wasnt too polite).
ill see if i can find the issue.
