Slow downloads.

Is there some known issue with http://ws.q3df.org/?

My download speeds are awesome, i download in bytes, not even kilos

Takes forever to even be able to join a game. So, what's up with it?
Does anyone else experience the same thing?

Same thing to me, it sometimes only download in 5-10 KB/s and decreasing, annoying!

I have no explanation for this behaviour.
Maybe it's your ISPs routing to our server that is broken.

How is playing on the servers when you finally manage to download a map?
Does going to the website directly and downloading via the download link make things faster?
Do you have much packetloss (can be seen on our teamspeak server)?
How far away from germany do you live?

I have no problem what so ever with the autodownload speed.
It'f faster to download manually from the page yes, but the download in game is around 600-700 for me. And since the pk3 files generally aint big, thats going kinda fast.

I do not have any problems with map download speed, but i recently switched ISP (for a way faster connection) and got better ping in general except for to the 4e servers (anything on 5.*.*.* really) where my ping was doubled.
This is indeed a routing problem in my case, after having made some traceroutes. I haven't noticed any packetloss tho, gonna talk to the ISP who owns the slow gateway (major ISP routing out of Sweden to that net) when i have time.
