Thanks bro I appreciate your kindness. Although I have to agree with people that wallbug is gay from a competitive perspective, I still will use it because the entire community already does so and has the ability to use it. (Cgaz hud is useable and easily attainable by ALL players) Until it is implemented to be entirely blocked, I see no reason to not take advantage of it. Just because my times are a bit better than others that do use wallbug, I guess that warrants me 'retard' status. You guys can sit around and cry about how your maps are ruined, when its clear that your times weren't wallbugged but the person ahead did do the wallbug. (In a sense you have the legit rec, while that person has the wallbug rec...) Until somebody does something about it...

I dont will call it a sport but I think fairplay is still a part of the game. And when 3-5 players dont respect it, but 95% do than it is sad, just because of the copmpetition and the fun. And defrag will be dead soon. I personally dont care about that, but i can understand others who spent alot of time to make a good place and afterwards got beaten in between 1 minute with no skill. :(

How isn't it fair play?
Do we need to re-explain the definition of fair?

Call it lame if you want, but tell it to the mapper first.
Players will (and should) always find the fastest path.

In the end everything that counts is the established conception of right and wrong. Technically mousewheeling is a legit way to jump, however the majority of the community doesn't support that so it is banned. In other games it is not(halflife) because the community has a different opinion.

Then call it unrwitten rules, whatever. And as i said, i do not care about it. But i can understand them who complain. And to blame a mapper is wrong here, because this bug is kinda new... :naughty: . For example sdc30, it makes me angry to see that record there. Imo its abusing those unwritten rules. But I would agree on new maps, tho.

using 'make detail' for a crowd of tiny brushes is an unwritten rule for mappers
so the mapper is pretty guilty there
