I want to make a cpm movie for maze in the near future. For this we evaluated some of his demos (all world records, reading from the new record database) and came to a proper maplist. The thing is that some maps don't have the same texture/detail quality as others and therefore look pretty "alone" next to the others. My idea was to extend this project a bit and redesign/redetail some of them. I got most of the copyright permissions of the formal lvl designers, some haven't answered yet or the email was wrong, but I don't think they will be to angry about it.

Now I wanted to ask you, if you could help me out with picking one of these maps and detail/texture them a bit. It can be the same texture set or something totally different, as long as the old map is still recognizable. The original path and some of the walls have to stay, because otherwise the player might jump into the void.

So just write me an email. It would be so awesome if you can help me with your creativity, and besides it would be a nice community project.
After the movie got released I wanted to grab all the maps you made and release a name-of-map_revisited mappack, so everyone can play those fresh maps. I think a lot of people played some of the maps because of the gameplay and stopped because of the visuals (I just guess).

If you pick a map I can send you the demo of maze, but only for the map you chose, so I don't spoil everything from the beginning on.

Aw maze <3. Sure I will retexture some. Btw you can modify the geometry of the map without the player going into the "void", the actual movement data is on the demo ;) I did some fancy stuff on the past remaking the maps and playing it ! :D

as long as u properly clip the map, and don't go overboard from the basic structure.

just as a note i called dibs on pornstar-nc2, im nearly done with it.

And yeah as ghost said. In the end it should be pretty similiar to the original map brushwork regarding the base.
