Hey!

The map "r7-kiddy" was uploaded at 2010.12.25, and then removed from the database site ( q3a.ath.cx ), but still vote able. The question is that what is the problem with the map, because when i want to upload it again, it says, the .pk3 is broken, but don't tell me anything about why it is broken. Please tell me the source of the problem, so then i can fix it maybe.

something about hunk allocation or something idk pan told me. ask him.

my version of r7-kiddy,

i decompiled ur map, changed the skybox, to something that gives better lighting and doesnt kill your eyes.. gave worldspawn the following keys/values:

_minlight 20
_lightmapscale .5
gridsize 256 256 512
_blocksize 2048

and the comping settings as follows:

-meta -skyfix
-vis
-light -dirty -fast -filter -gamma 1.25 -patchshadows -samples 6 -smooth

smooth probably wasnt necessary neither patchshadows mainly because i killed all the patches/cones.

no, but with simple stuff like this and actually compiling with light, you can get a decent looking map.

Anyway, it works now on some servers. Dunno exactly on which ones.
