Re: Own binary modifications

I was thinking about something like:

"It's not allowed to add custom content for Quake III Arena source code that in any way modify physic, player behavior, netcode, imput etc and use such binary to play."

but safest way will be:

"It's not allowed to add custom content for Quake III Arena source code and use such binary to play."

How this looks ?

That looks good. How about this adaption?
"It's not allowed modify the quake3 or the defrag binary files in any way that modifies physical behavior, network code or the input interface."

I don't really like it though. Nameing things explicitly is not the right way.
In general you can say people know when they start cheating. They try to sneak around rules (like hunnybunny) but in the end they always do it on purpose. Somehow i have no sympathy.

Good point. That belongs to interference, though.

Already coverd by "be polite". You don't have to make rules for that. Besides, that's not cheating.
