--> yawspeed modification during runs

Postby <hk> » Oct 12th, '09, 8:50 pm

Since, not everyone seems to be pleased with the current server rules i suggest we develop new rules for the server here in this thread. Please try to find rules that have as least exceptions as possible. I want this to be constructive, so please make short posts which concentrate on essential things. Stay on Topic and do not spam.

:arrow: This thread is dedicated to modifying the yaw speed value during runs only.

I don't think it should be allowed to modify the cl_yawspeed value during runs. This means you could bind multiple buttons which change the cl_yawspeed value to do every turn at the right speed.

Like I said before, just stay off the yawspeed, how hard can it be?

Ofc no change during run. This means no separate binds for +left and +right.

Ok then.

"It is not allowed to automate movements of your mouse."
or
"It is not allowed to change your view angles with other means than moving the mouse."

I prefer the latter. Any suggestions?

That one's good! :P
Can't think of any exception where it should be allowed, assuming that it only applies to registered times.

EDIT: It seems that this rule also prohibits the use of centerview command(and ofc +left/+right commands), with is also nice 8-)

I did think of centerview but that's only useful in frag mods, i guess.
