2 days ago there was a big Quake Live update that also added CPM-ish ruleset with air control.
Anybody here tried it? What do you think of the new physics?

The air control feels OK. Way too much freedom; you can turn almost as sharp as you want without losing speed, which is annoying. Aside from the OK-ish air control, it's complete shit. I've always hated the rampjumps in QL, and they're part of this physic mode.

Would be bearable without stupid stepjumps though. And if I got more than 40fps in QL.

better than nothing!!! some tweaks and pql was big fun but there is a need of ranked pql servers!!!

Pql is the reason i joined ql 4 days ago!

Pql is ok, but the air control feels really touchy. And fast weapon switch doesn't work right. it's hit or miss.
